A judge ordered the U.S. SEC to turn over an email containing a draft statement from former top SEC official William Hinman. The statment is about whether ethereum was considered a security.
James K. Filan, former Federal prosecutor, said "the SEC believes discrete portions of the notes it was asked to turn over reflect the notetaker's thinking or reflect deliberations among SEC staff and therefore gave limited access."
XRP proponents said this is another major win for Ripple despite the limitations.
