The Cardano Foundation is a gold member of the Linux Foundation. This makes the Cardano Foundation the only active non-profit at this level.

"The Cardano Foundation is committed to advancing the adoption of blockchain technology, and we strongly believe that building a vibrant open source community around our technology is a key part of making that happen," said Dirk Hohndel, Chief Open Source Officer, Cardano Foundation.
