USA TODAY NETWORK, owned by Gannett is the largest newspaper group in the United States. It announced that it will cooperate with American contemporary artist Peter Tunney to auction the NFT. The latter uses the original pages of Gannett’s newspapers to create autograph collages named "GRATITUDE" and "LIBERTY". The bidder with the highest bid will also receive an original painting specially created by Peter Tunney for Gannett. The auction will be held at OpenSea. This is Gannett's second NFT auction. Prior to this, Gannett auctioned the "First Newspaper Delivered to the Moon" series for the first time in June.
